Abstract

Background Biliary atresia (BA) is a progressive liver disease. It is the most frequent indication for pediatric liver transplantation. Kasai portoentostomy (KPE) is used as the first line of treatment. This study aimed to identify possible short-term outcome prognostic
factors of KPE for BA in infants.
