Access to medication is a critical component of healthcare, yet many individuals face barriers to obtaining the medications they need. These barriers can include cost, insurance coverage limitations, lack of availability in certain areas, and other factors. This essay explores various policy and practice solutions for overcoming barriers to medication access and affordability. By examining the current landscape of medication access and affordability issues, as well as potential solutions, this essay aims to provide insights into how policymakers, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders can work together to ensure that all individuals have access to the medications they need.
